Another hike we did this summer was up to the Stateline Fire Lookout above Crystal Bay. We had been told that it was a good hike to do with kids as it wasn't very long, the path was paved, and at the top you had amazing views of the lake with lots of room to explore. Though Sam protested the entire way up that he couldn't do it, he changed his tune at the top. It was beautiful!
